stainless steel plate duct welding, non-melting argon arc welding; when the thickness of the board is greater than 1.2 mm, the DC welding machine can be used for reverse pole welding, but ethoxyethane welding is not allowed. The electrode or wire should be of the same material as the base metal and the mechanical strength should not be lower than that of the base metal.
Before welding, the grease and dirt in the weld area should be removed to prevent the occurrence of pores and blisters in the weld. Cleaning can be done with gasoline, etc.
When welding stainless steel by arc welding, white chalk should be applied to both sides of the weld to prevent the splash metal from adhering to the surface of the plate and damage the plate.
After welding, attention should be paid to remove the slag at the weld, and the metal luster is brushed with a non-embroided wire brush or a copper wire brush, then acid-washed and passivated with a pickling paste, and finally cleaned with hot water.
Ducts should avoid opening holes in the duct welds and their edges.
